  • "I wanted door bags for my Razor Trail and they happened to have a set. Reid took many photos and measurements and sent them to me. I ended up buying them over the phone as I live in Aberdeen and would pick them up on our way to the hills. I get to the dealership and forgot my tools to install them. A gentleman that works there was off duty but there working on his own machine and lent me his tools to install. Now I'd asked service about updating my maps on the Ride Command. I believe Kenny was his name and he came right out with a thumb drive and updated them while walking me through the process. Thumbs up to Rice Polaris!!!"

Problem was compounded by my bike being a Victory (have to order parts from WI), and I had to be at my daughter's wedding in MN in six days. Long story short, job got done in time, I made the wedding. Service and parts department is INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend. Thanks, guys!"

  • "The rear tire on my Goldwing wore out much quicker than I had expected while riding on an extensive trip through many western states. Perhaps riding two up, pulling a trailer and riding in 90 to 100 deg temperatures for many weeks attributed to the premature wear. I stopped in at Rice's Rapid Motorsports without an appointment and they replaced the rear tire in less than one hour. I would not have made it home on that worn tire. I still had 800 miles to drive and needed to be home in two days. Thank you Rice's Motorsports for keeping me safe!"

  • "My goldwing had developed a vibration while traveling to Yellowstone. I suspected the driveshaft. Robert, in parts, was very helpful in getting the driveshaft using next day delivery. The service department got me in right away, did a thorough analysis, confirmed the driveshaft problem and repaired the bike. I was back on the road. Thank you for your service."

  • "I purchased a 2021 Polaris Ranger from another dealer out of state due to inventory shortages. I was in the Black Hills visiting and the ECM fuse kept blowing. I towed it in to Summerset Polaris without an appointment. Upon arrival Kyle helped me out and grabbed another tech and ran a scan. Upon inspection Polaris ground the seatbelt harness to the chassis when the machine was built. The team handled it and I was back on the road the same day. This was above and beyond my expectations."

  • "On May 21st we were on our way through town on our ride. My alternator went out in Hermosa. While waiting for the tow I contacted service department and spoke with Brach about my situation. He indicated he would do his best when I get my bike to the shop. Finally arrived Friday after closing. Saturday morning I spoke with Brach again and he indicated the tech confirmed it was the alternator, had one in stock and would be completed by end of the day. Even better than that it was done by 1pm allowing us to get back on the road. Can't thank you all enough for understanding the need for an expedited repair."

  • "We had purchased a "Razor" UTV on recommendation of family. After riding it one day we realized it far too much for our intentions. We called Scott and asked to "trade" it in for something more to our style of street/trail riding. Scott and the team worked through a return and purchase of a new 4- seater Tracker, which we absolutely love. It suites both road and moderate trails, easy to ride, quite, and turns great. The whole team was very helpful and understanding and wanted us to have the type of vehicle that suited our needs. The first day out our clutch cable snapped on our victory cross, we called ALOT of places (including Indian, who told us they ONLY work on Indians during the rally) we called Rice and spoke with Jeff. He said he had the part we needed and would be waiting for us. We towed it. They got it done very quickly! I really enjoyed working with Jeff. Straight forward. Very real. Super professional. Helped set our mind at ease that they were there to get it done adn us back on 2 wheels so we could enjoy our vacation! HUGE shout out to JEFF!!!!!!!"

  • "I had arrived in Rapid City for a week long trip with friends when I discovered a balding back tire. I Had actually scheduled an appointment with the Indian Dealership in Sturgis to work on my Victory when I ran across a fellow rider in a gas station across the interstate. He recommended Rice Powersports highly. I literally dropped in at 8am and the service garage garage door opened as I pulled up. Got 2 new tires mounted and balanced and out the door by 10am!! And charged me 2/3% what Indian was quoting. I'll definitely shop there and refer these guys. Outstanding service!!"

  • "My two brothers and I visited the Black Hills area in June of 2020. When we left Missouri my front tire looked fine but after 6 days and 2000 miles it was looking questionable for a 850 mile ride home. We arrived at the dealership at about 8:50 am on Saturday. I wasn't too hopeful about getting any service on a Saturday-not to mention the front tire I needed wasn't real common. Anyway we were second in line and Jeff Yorkey quickly got my bike in and they had not one but two tires in inventory that fit my bike. I figured it would be at least 2-3 hours of waiting so I was really surprised that 45 minutes later my bike was done and we were back on the road. Awesome! I swill also say that while we were in Rapid City one of my brothers t-boned a car coming out of a parking lot. GRRRR! HE went down on his Goldwing and was concerned that his trip may be over due to a possible bent fork. Jeff Yorkey and crew wheeled his bike into the garage area checked it over for about 1.5 hours and gave us a thunbs up . Apparently nothing was bent and we continued our trip with no further incidents. I have had good service at Honda Dealers before, but nothing comes close to Rice's Rapid Motorsports. Thanks guys!"

  • "I was vacationing in South Dakota on my 06 Victory Vegas the last week of August, 2019. On Thursday, 8/29/19 my clutch cable snapped while in the Badlands. I looked up shops in Rapid City and was directed to Rice as they used to be a Victory dealer. Amazingly they had a clutch cable for my bike. I showed up around 4:30pm and dropped off my bike. Around 10:45 am on Friday they called to let me know it was ready to pick up. I was shocked at the fast turnaround. Some people I would like to mention: Brock answered my phone call and was very helpful. Looked up the part and directed me to the dealership. Jeremy, the service writer, was also very helpful and friendly, looking things up for me online and let me drop off my boots and helmet there so I didn't have to lug them around with me. Jeff, the manager, was also helpful and friendly. He talked with me about the issues with Victory clutch cables. And lastly JT, the assistant manager made sure I was doing okay and talked with me about cable repair kits. I had never heard of these and sure enough found them online for a very small price. Overall a wonderful experience at Rice's and if I lived in Rapid City they would have a lifetime customer. I would give you a hundred stars but it only allows five. You guys ROCK. Thanks."
